Here we are in a Pennsylvania blizzard, and I just got back from leading my very first “Transformational Destination Retreat!” in tropical Puerto Rico over Spring Break!

Here we are in a Pennsylvania blizzard, and I just got back from leading my very first “Transformational Destination Retreat!” in tropical Puerto Rico over Spring Break!


Talk about transformation!  Look at Mother Nature’s sorcery using wind, hot and cold, and water in all it’s forms! One hour I am feeling the warm, lucious humidity of the rainforest, the next I am feeling the “weight” of the air about to tumble snow to the earth.

Lovely Casa Grande Mountain Resort was our sweet, rainforest hideaway for a five day adventure toward transformation. The band of 11 intrepid travelers allowed themselves this opportunity  to kick back in their hammocks, swim and bask in the sun, do yoga, and  take “workshops” designed for a  rethink, redo, reboot.

Transformation can come in an instant, like a cloudburst. It can also come slowly like a cold front making its way across the heartland to the East Coast where it will then collide with the warm front to bring on --- the biggest blizzard of the year, maybe even in four years!
We are like that too. Maybe our community building and our retreat  workshops, “The Flow of Emotions,” and “The Ethical Practices of Yoga”, and “Sustainable farming in Puerto Rico,” will bring some change that will help us know ourselves just a little better. Help us live our lives with more integrity and perseverance. It could happen in a minute, or like the gathering storm, the change could show itself later.... When the conditions and the  time is “just right.”
